Windows SmartScreen Notice
When installing vrefdeck for the first time, you may see a Windows SmartScreen message that says:
“Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.”
This is normal and expected for new applications. vrefdeck is properly signed with a verified certificate from DigiCert, a trusted certificate authority.
Why this happens
Windows SmartScreen uses a reputation-based system for applications. New software that hasn’t been widely downloaded yet will trigger this warning even when properly signed.
You can verify that vrefdeck is legitimately signed by:
Clicking “More info” on the SmartScreen warning
Confirming that the Publisher shows: “US, Colorado, Broomfield, “Saana, Inc.”

How to proceed with installation
To install vrefeck when you see this message:
Click “More info”
Click “Run anyway”
As more people download and use vrefdeck, this warning will eventually disappear as the application establishes a reputation with Microsoft.
